Vice Music dropped us a line to tell us that there’s a preview track of Bloc Party’s next album available. Bloc Party’s last album A Silent Alarm made NME’s 2005 album of the year and the record made it to platinum in the UK – a huge feat in this day and age of cut and burn. VM says about this track from the album ‘A Weekend In The City’:
Got to love a refrain that kicks off with “Tonight make me unstoppable,” cause that pretty much sums up my nightly prayer. Seriously. If there was a chant that could make it so I could consume gallons of whiskey without falling into piles of garbage, I’d be on that shit religiously. Add massive toms and hand claps and I’m bobbing my head a bit too excitedly behind my lap top.
