Team Awear

TeamAwear is
a next-generation basketball jersey. Combining design, technology and culture, this is a novel wearable display system for team sports allowing players to ‘wear their
performance’.

TeamAwear consists of four basketball jerseys that are equipped with electronic displays, each wirelessly controlled to exhibit game-related information to the surrounding public during play. The aim is to communicate the amount of individual fouls, points, scores and time alerts of the player to enhance the awareness of information for coaches, players, referees and spectators.

A research project by University of Sydney student Mitchell Page, the project’s life has been documented on his research progress blog.
