Viktor & Rolf’s Hollywood Wedding

To launch their clothing collaboration with H&M, Viktor & Rolf threw a celebrity- filled wedding in Hollywood on Tuesday. The theme for the party reflected the collection which is focussed around all the items a couple would need for a wedding and honeymoon; cleverly incorporating aspects of casual, smart and formal wear into one capsule collection. According to Vogue.com, the party was the ultimate in LA glamour and showmanship-

"After a stag party featuring burlesque dancers, the Amsterdam-based designers invited 600 guests including Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Owen Wilson and Kanye West to dance to a 10-piece orchestra playing Madonna’s Like A Virgin beneath crystal chandeliers and a disco ball. A catwalk show of the 70-piece collection was then presented in front of a 12-foot high wedding cake."

Luckily, judging by the advertising campaign, the designers have kept this glitziness for the party and created a stylishly restrained collection- but after the insanity of the Stella McCartney collaboration launch last year, good luck getting your hands on it!
