Damon Dash Does Couture

Damon Dash is to launch an upmarket clothing line with ‘couture’ sensibilities. The hip-hop mogul who is famous for wearing items only once before discarding them has decided that he wants to reflect a cleaner and more mature look for his CEO clothing line.

With his street clothing label Rocawear going strong and influenced by his fashion-designer wife, Dash has said "I
thought it would be interesting to have someone from the urban marketplace to
attack fashion from that aspect - not regular fashion, but couture."
