Most Memorable Ads of 2006
Business Week have published their favourite campaigns of 2006. These include:
Big Ad – Carlson Beer
Paint – Sony Bravia
I’m a PC, I’m a Mac – Apple Mac
noitulove – Guinness
Tea Partaay – Smirnoff
Fruit – Tango
This is what they said about Paint:
“Its Bravia spot, directed by Jonathan Glazer (the movie Sexy Beast, and countless commercials), was probably the most anticipated ad of the year. And who couldn’t love those millions of gallons of paint flying into the air. (Though what was up with that clown?)”
About Carlson:
“A big winner at industry award shows this year, this over-the-top ad for Carlton Draft beer was as funny as it was honest. Backed by an epic soundtrack, the actors sang, “This is a big ad, an expensive ad, this ad had better sell some bloody beer!”"
