Blog Music: Hyping The Hype Machine

Pardon the hype, but this site will probably again “change the way you discover music”. Just search for any band and The Hype Machine
pulls up a list of tracks found throughout the MP3 blogosphere, an
upcoming show list, videos on Youtube, and the option to subscribe to
an RSS feed.

The best feature is the pop-up player, a playlist
streaming the MP3’s it finds. Great for sampling bands, and finding
obscure tracks. Well, tracks that have been blogged. Because of this, its engine feeds off buzz. Hence “The Hype Machine.”
