The British government continues to voice its concerns over young Brits behavior when it comes to alcohol consumption. Cabinet minister Hazel Blears had hoped that 24 hour drinking laws would help develop a cafe-society but, the Sun reports, Brits are "too boozy to have just one drink."

In the UK 10,000 18 to 21-year-olds go to hospital each month with drink-related problems.

  1. “In the UK 10,000 18 to 21-year-olds go to hospital each month with drink-related problems.”

    ACK! More pointless stats!

Is this MORE than before the changes? Less? The same? How does it compare to other countries? What is meant by “drink-related problems?”

Really this is utterly useless information.

  2. it is mere lip service from the government. The labour gov. has encouraged binge drinking by creating de facto industrial drinking sites in every town centre.
