Frei Otto to Design Serpentine Pavilion

by Amanda Gore (PSFK London) in Trends In The UK

According to Archinect, this year’s Serpentine Pavilion will be built by German architect Frei Otto, best known for his experimentation with membrane structures, inflatable buildings and paper construction. No more information is known yet, but judging from previous offerings produced for the gallery by Rem Koolhaas, Toyo Ito, and Zaha Hadid among others, it’s sure to be another exciting edifice.
