Online casual gaming sites are increasingly getting into the ad
game.  Not to be confused with the high intensity, multi-player, "kill
‘em all" action games, casual games attract a "diverse group of Web
users who like to solve puzzles, play word games and decipher mind
benders online."While traditional action…

Love
this commentary by the anti-advertising agency: they’ve covered the
video-screens that sit above New York’s subway stops blasting out ads
day and night.

The French design duo Kuntzel + Deygas has been doing groundbreaking
digital video work since 1990.  One of their more recent projects
includes the snazzy Catch Me If You Can opening sequence, but the duo

All the information that companies can hold on you from visiting
there websites or shopping in their stores was pretty scary - just
seeing contextual or behavioural online ads can feel a little odd at
times, but things are about to get even more personal. Advertising Lab
have announced that…

Just to show that they’re not all Ivy League and Oxbridge grads
having tea partays, PWC have put together an excellent report which
examines the future of communications. And guess what? Web 2.0 features
pretty heavily. Rather than knocking them (like we did in our opening

Trend Tube Map
http://www.psfk.com/wp-content/uploads/s19031.gridserver.com/wp-content/uploads/psfk.com/if/detail/Trend_Blend_2007_map.jpg

Mindshare called this ‘The world’s best trend map ever’ and they’re not
far wrong. Ross Dawson put the map together in December last year and
based it on, what looks like, the famous London tube map by Harry Beck.
The map shows key trends in each sector and also…

Advertisers are avoiding the use of advertising blog networks and
using Google to advertise on leading blogs. We noticed a number of
brands were appearing on PSFK’s site that hadn’t been bought through
our rep, Federated Media - and when we looked into it, we found that
the advertisers had booked Google AdSense ads that run in rotation in
the unsold inventory. What the advertisers are doing are buying site
specific Google ads: in other words, they say ‘run this ad on this
site’ to Google.

Have
you seen this?! Pretty extraordinary campaign by Diesel where 2 girls
in their underwear try to convince Diesel to hire them as models - or
they’ll chop of the sales assistant’s balls. All streamed live.

The B-Bag is a biodegradable alternative to the traditional grow
bag. Similar to the paper filing system in your desk, this
multi-sectioned folder can be filled with just about any annual plants
seeds and makes gardening a whole lot easier. The B-bag functions the

each pebble resembles (mostly) the letter it represents. Look at the
photo, can’t you tell that says PSFK? It all started when Tom, designer
of the font, found a pebble…
