There’s a so-so profile of uber-designer Jonathan Ive on the Guardian’s site. Unfortunately the journalist Ian Sample has just regurgitated his CV than actually provide any insight into the Apple’s chief designer creativity. Here’s probably the highlight in the article:
Ive’s first major success, the colourful all-in-one iMac computer, was inspired by the glistening transparency of gumdrops, and came as a reaction against the blandness of the beige desktop computers that dominated offices worldwide.
