Look- Yet Another Fashion Weekly
IPC Media and Group Marie Claire have announced their latest venture- Look magazine. A direct competitor to Grazia which has managed to grab a substantial chunk of the UK women’s magazine market since its launch two years ago, the magazine will be based around the tried-and-tested formula of high-street fashion, shopping advice and celebrity gossip.
According to it’s editor Ali Hall "This is a generation of confident, bright and ambitious young women across the UK not currently served by the magazines out there. These women want it all and they want it right now. Look will be the perfect high street filter for them."
Despite the warnings of many that printed media is dying, an £18m investment in this new magazine hopes to show that for young female readers there’s still nothing like a glossy magazine.
Look goes on sale on 6th February.
