An advertising icon from the beginning of the decade has been resurrected for an entirely different product.

Back in 2002 when the On Digital rebranded to ITV Digital, Mother created Monkey as comedian Johnny Vegas’s sidekick for a series of popular ads:

Well Mother have now brought Monkey and Vegas back from the dead with a brand new ad for PG Tips. PG Tips have traditionally used real chimps in their TV commericals so they haven’t moved to far by switching to a stuffed monkey. You can watch the new ad here:
