New Onitsuka Tiger Campaign

Amsterdam based ad agency Strawberry Frog have put together the latest Onitsuka Tiger (Asics) campaign. The campaign will launch with a giant shoe sculpture which is a 1.5 metre replica of a Kabre 74 sneaker. The campaign is all based on the line ‘Made of Japan’. The sculpture of the Kabre 74 is made up of chopsticks, toys, origami and sushi.

Mark Chambers, global creative director at StrawberryFrog, said:

“From humble beginnings in Kobe, Japan, to shoes worn by old medal-winning Japanese Olympians, Onitsuka Tiger has Japan in its DNA.

“StrawberryFrog’s designs reinterpret Japanese art, iconography, workmanship and tradition. Onitsuka Tiger has grown from cult street sneaker to a mainstream movement of followers thanks to StrawberryFrog’s innovative approach to sneaker and fashion marketing.”
