SpiralFrog Dies
There’s a lot of news in the blogosphere about the loss of the CEO of temporary-music-for-watching-advertising SpiralFrog, and gossip in the pub on Friday was that the site will close before it is launched. The model was always complicated for consumers: free music that wasn’t really free unless you went and watched ads every month. Also, rather daft as a music model: you’d have to get at least $500 cpm to cover the cost of giving away the music. We’ll let you know when we get some firm news.
