Malicebox
Yesterday, we posted about “Mars Sucks,” a video game based on Google Maps where you travel around the world answering geography questions in order to save the world from aliens. Today, Iain Tate of crackunit.com points us towards another Google Maps game that the guys from Poke put together for Penguin to help promote the launch of a new mystic-thriller book called The Malice Box.

The book is a bit like the Da Vinci Code – a dude runs about the place, solving puzzles and saving the world…For the online game we created, you get to navigate the globe using Google maps. Basically you solve puzzles, guess locations of ‘Red Gold’ on the map and win prizes.

Hemmm…There seems to be a re-occuring theme to these games?
