The Horizon Report 2007

Each year the horizon report examines technologies pushing "the boundaries of teaching, learning and creative expression by creatively applying new tools in new contexts." Six key technologies are picked out by the NMC which they regard as important to higher education within the next one to five years.
Following up last year’s post let’s see what the EDUCause Initiative has found this year. Their observations include Social Networking, The New Scholarship and Emerging forms of publication, Massively Multiplayer Educational gaming and more.
"A central focus of the discussion of each technology is its relevance
for teaching, learning, and creative expression. Live weblinks to example applications are provided in each section, as well as to additional readings."
