Virtual Fashion Week- the newest addition to the fashion calendar
Earlier this week iVillage hosted the first ever virtual fashion week in Second Life. Featuring designers by the names of caLLie cLine, Simone Stern and Paper Couture- described in the press release as the Betsey (Johnson?), Donna (I can only assume they mean Karan) and Heatherette of the virtual world- the show was open invitation, unlike the elitist craziness that has been ensuing at the shows of New York Fashion Week. I didn’t get to see it, but if anyone did i’d love to hear their thoughts.
