Home Buenos Aires
We’ve just returned from a fantastic trip to Argentina where we had the pleasure of staying in Hotel Home. One of the only hotels in Palermo, Buenos Aires’ hottest neighbourhoods, Home is a lovely place to spend time.

The hotel itself has an interesting story behind it as it’s owned by British record producer Tom Rixton and his wife Patricia O’Shea (who’s was brought up in the area). When they got married in Buenos Aires they realised that there was no where in Palermo for their friends to stay and so set up the hotel.

When we stayed the staff were fantastic advising us on everything from what bars to go to (Olsen), where to get the best steak (Don Juans) ,to what Alexa should wear (jeans) when we watched Boca Juniors play!

The room was fantastic with a minimalist design, some vintage wallpaper and a gorgeous bathroom. However, when we met an American family who had rented the Loft we got pretty jealous.

Hernando has just written a great post on Hotel Home on his blog Buenos Aires Spotting.
