Sarah Jessica Parker gets Bitten

Sarah Jessica Parker is the latest celeb to sign up to become a fashion designer, though instead of creating high-fashion clothes as worn by her ‘Sex and the City’ alter-ego, her first range will be for mass retailer Steve & Barry’s. According to fashionweekdaily, the range is to be called Bitten (reflecting SJP’s new-found love for the Steve & Barry’s stores), and will go on sale across the U.S from June 7, with every item priced at $19.98 or less. The collection plans to cover a woman’s entire wardrobe and will include over 400 items of apparel, accessories and shoes including casual and classic lines as well as trend- focused pieces.

The reason for this range SJP said was that, “women should be able to wear great clothes and not lie in bed at night feeling guilty about how much money they’ve spent. High quality, luxurious clothes do not need to cost as much as we’ve been led to think”.
