Michigan policy makers are proposing a plan that would buy a MP3 player or iPod for every school child in the state. The Detroit News and Engadget are enraged but to us it’s an interesting sign of how classrooms are changing. Michigan are giving kids portable drives that can store and replay data and educational media. Didn’t they say something like this about web connections once?
