		<description>&lt;p&gt;Interesting to me that Allan uses some of the same toaster images - probably from the same website - which I used in a corporate presentation back in 2000. And I showed the same progression - from beautiful to ugly. Only I also related this to manufacturing, marketing to niche social groups, and internet-enabled customization as well as product design. And I had a definitive conclusion about what I was showing: the assertion that we were about to witness a coming reversal and that rapid manufacturing technologies would herald a &quot;return to craft&quot; and open a whole avenue for branding.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&#039;m honestly not sure what Allan is saying in this presentation besides the fact he finds these things remarkable. That doesn&#039;t help me very much.&lt;/p&gt;
