Rent-a-Polaroid

This last weekend, we popped into Hanger Bar in the East Village for a quick drink and noticed a little sign behind the bar informing customers that they can rent a polaroid camera.  What a genius idea.  For $15 bucks you can rent the camera loaded with film, $10 for each additional roll.   Yes, everybody and their mother has the ability to take a photo on their camera phone or with their digital, but sometimes it’s just nice to have a tangible artifact left over from the night before. 

On a side note, they have a killer, half-off happy hour that goes all the way untill 9pm.
