We were taken out to lunch the other day by an exec at SonyBMG. He walked us through the streets of Midtown to New York to the Le Parker Meridian (118 W. 57th St)- a very swanky hotel. When we went in, we didn’t go to the posh restaurant. Instead we joined a line at the back of the lobby – after 25 minutes we finally made it to the room the line led to: a divey Burger Bar – with cheap wood paneling, ceiling tiles, bad lighting and the most amazing burgers. The place was packed.
We understand that the restaurant has been around for a few years now – but it’s always nice for someone to reveal their secret lunch place, no? Thanks Cool Kenny!

but don’t book a hotel room anywhere above that restaurant, for obvious reasons!

Boy do I hope most of your readers are in the UK … it’s already hard enough to get a seat there. ;)
Great burger, but the cramped quarters get old after a while.

I love Burger Joint. Delicious. It really says something when you get your food in a paper bag, and the bag has turned transparent.
