Dan Smith Will Teach You Culture Jamming

The Gothamist points us to a great project executed by a student in Parson’s Geek Graffiti Class that pokes a bit of fun at the omnipresent “Dan Smith will Teach You Guitar” flyers that have become some what of a joke for New Yorkers.

The student got a hold of one of the flyers and simply replaced the “guitar” with a bunch of obscure disciplines such as “quantum physics,” “sewing,” and “keystroke logging” and did a little flyering of his own.

There’s even a blog with some photos of the replacements and messages from people who actually called in looking for help.

Simple, but funny.
