Fashionistas Make It Big This Year

By Guy Brighton on May 3, 2007

Sunday Time’s Rich List 2007 breaks down the exorbitant incomes of Britain and Ireland’s finest capitalists.  Fashion moguls of all kinds: models, designers, and owners made the list.  Some of the big names include:

- Sir Philip Green (Bhs and Topshop), was crowed fashion’s richest, and is valued at £4,900m.

- Harold Tillman, Chairman/owner of Jaeger, ranks in 7th place in the fashion listing for his Fashion Enterprise Fund, to which he’s dedicated £5m to support emerging new designers.

- Ray Kelvin, owner of Ted Baker, raked in a cool £105 million sterling.

- Cristina Stenbeck, heiress to her father’s investment fortune and Ralph Lauren associate, is now worth £387m.

- Katie Moss/Price, the richest model on the list, clocked £30m.

- Erin O’Connor, model, followed Moss with £12m.
