Healing anthropology SmHere’s an interesting beauty positioning we spotted over at TreeHugger – Anthropology is offering a range of Healing products.. We see so many products that promise to make you look younger or your skin clearer, it’s nice to see products that are positioned to help us weather our oh-so-brutal urban lives. The site says:

Heal with our Soothing Calendula Salves, our natural body and skin care products for eczema, psoriasis and damaged skin including scars and stretch marks. Or, simply use our vitamin rich Nourishing Body Cream everyday to nourish and protect the look and texture of your skin.

Oh damn, they also do that ‘look years younger’ pitch too. How disappointing. The site also says:

Roll back the hands of time with the natural and organic facial care products in our Rejuvenating System.

Oh well.

  1. Hah, yeah it’s a true dilemma, isn’t it? Use *truthful* advertising, or stick to what works!

Thing is, there’s so many things you can do to naturally help your skin age better, and simple moisturising techniques can help prevent and eliminate most stretch marks — at least that’s what I’ve read in the free e-book and newsletter about stretch marks and their effects at http://www.healthy-mind-and-body.com/stretch_marks

But like you say, reading “honest” reviews of products is far more helpful to the average consumer, isn’t it?

    Keep up the great work.
