Innocent Drops Fruitstock For Village Fete

Innocent Drops Fruitstock For Village Fete

By Piers Fawkes on May 15, 2007

In an interesting move, Innocent the UK smoothie company has decided not to hold its popular Fruitstock music festival this year and hold an old fashioned village fetes in the center of London instead. Under the banner ‘The World’s Biggest Little Fete’, the site says:

Summer wouldn’t be summer without village fetes. So this year we’re having our very own innocent village fete, in Regent’s Park, London on 4th and 5th August.

And we’re going to be sticklers for tradition. We’ll have the proper stuff – homemade cakes, a big farmers market, welly-wanging, coconut shies, fruit and veg competitions, Morris dancers and miles and miles of bunting.

There’ll be plenty of other stuff for both kids and grown ups alike, including fancy dress, arts and crafts, places to rest and relax, a knitting tent and, of course, lots of space to put down a rug and enjoy a family picnic. We will also be providing lots of smoothies for you to swig, naturally.
