Having started off her professional life as a WPP Marketing Fellow at J Walter Thompson and MindShare Digital London, the bright lights of New York City beckoned to Amelia Torodea and in 1999 she left for a one-year placement at Ogilvy Interactive New York. Almost six years later she came back to the UK with a French fiancé, a dubious mid-Atlantic drawl when drunk and a huge amount of planning and strategy experiences.

Those NYC years were mainly spent at Ogilvy where she became a Partner specializing in digital and direct communication strategy for clients including AT&T Wireless, Nestlé and Unilever and also at “agency of the year” Berlin Cameron/Red Cell as a Senior brand planner on Pfizer and running Boots, Orange, and Sony Vaio. Amelia moved to VCCP to be Head of Digital Strategy earlier this year.  Current clients include O2, Dyson, ING Direct, Channel Five and Coke Zero. Stuff that makes Amelia happy outside of work hours include blogging, running and very good French
red wine.

Amelia will join a panel along with Jess Greenwood of Contagious, Harry
Fowler of Major Players, and Flo Heiss of Dare to
discuss whether or not planners can really be the new creatives?  Do
they really have the skills, experience and intuition to apply
creativity in their work?

Come see what Jess has to say: http://psfklondon.eventbrite.com
