200705171231John Grant used to work in advertising and was a former co-founder & planning head of St Luke’s. His new book The Green Marketing Manifesto is out shortly. He is also writing a report for think tank Demos on leadership and change. And working with Glasshouse to orchestrate ‘brand date’ encounters between brand owners and entrepreneurial startups.

His previous three books and the majority of his consulting work have been about creative responses to change on an unprecedented scale in marketing, business, media and society.

John is (not alone in) thinking climate change & sustainability is ‘the big one’. His recent/current clients include innocent, IKEA, the Guardian and O2, plus several eco start-ups and marketing campaigns.

John will join a panel with Tamara Giltsoff of OZOlab, Diana Verde Nieto of Clownfish, Karen Fraser of Ethical Index and Santiago Gowland of Unilever to discuss whether marketing has been left behind by consumers and the rest of the corporation in the green-rush.
