Blogs get physical – postopolis!

Blogs get physical – postopolis!

By Dave Pinter on June 4, 2007

Events hosted by blogs outside of their internet locations continue to proliferate. Over the past five days, The Storefront for Art and Architecture hosted ‘Postopolis!’ put on by not one blog, but four. The event featured speakers and panels discussing topics relating to architecture, design, the urban environment, and the physical and digital landscape. The roster was compiled by the four blogs from four cities; BLDGBLOG (Los Angeles), City of Sound (London), Inhabitat(New York), and Subtopia(San Francisco). Each of the four blogs printed a stack of letter sized pages of posts and covered the interior gallery walls of the space.

The Storefront site already has video clips and photos posted from the event here. City of Sound has some video clips of LOT-EK’s presentation, the same folks who created the container stores for Uniqlo. PSFK stopped by and did some documenting of the closing party on Saturday night. Here’s a few photos of our own.
