Metric Malaise
Check out this rather interesting although perenially unsurprising map. It would seem that the U.S is one of the last furious flag-bearers of an outdated measuring system. Not that one can really comment on this well-known though oft-ignored fact, even if it does seem to indicate a certain perverse stubborness on the part of the U.S, but in any case it should still cause one to pause and reflect on the extent of our mathematical isolation…
