Could Stainless Steel Stop The Water Bottle?

sigg bottleVery recently PSFK met with the stainless steel designers at www.s3id.com where we had a discussion about how stainless steel was a great material to use in reusable water bottles and we wondered how they could be introduced more into the market. Could it be through design? Coolhunting points to a smartly designed Sigg Limited Edition Oval Bottle by Tim Yu. The bottle was originally developed in 1941 for the Swiss Army and Sigg, an environmentally friendly Swiss bottle company has reproduced the line. CH says:

Shaped like a flask, it holds .6 liters (20.4 oz) and is made of high-grade stainless steel that doesn’t impart taste or leach toxins into beverages.
