This new portable music player from Yanko Design supports both MP3 files as well as CDs. The MP3 function works just like any other player, but when you want to listen to that old CD you haven’t bothered to rip yet, just spread open the two sides and insert the disk.

this seems pointless, why not just rip the CD instead of getting it scratched up playing in an exposed player which you can’t hold while it spins?
