Microsoft’s newest edition of the wildly successful Halo® video game series “Halo® 3”, has pre-sold more than 1-million units…a month and a half before the September 25th launch date!
In fact, demand has been so strong for the Legendary Edition of the game that it is expected to be sold out by the time the game launches on Sept. 25. Retailers have also noted that the presales for “Halo 3” are the fastest in video game history.
We wonder what Sony thinks about the Xbox 360’s popular game line-up and global appeal. Especially considering the beat-down the Playstation 3 is getting by the Wii.

one game does not make a game line-up.
After H3 there are no more great games on the 360. PS3 has the better game lime-up ,they just wont be out this year. As for the Wii, it well last 3 years tops before the dated looking games and
ways of playing them gets old if not sooner.

Lets Get the numbers in perspective.
Halo 2 have 1.5 millions, 50% more the month before launch date…
Sine 1 million people play de demo (that you must buy another game to play it) its reasonable that the same people go to the pre-sale.
Wake me Up when it surprass the 1.5 of Halo 2, if it can sell more, since halo 2 was a disapointment

Well I see that jealousy has obviously gotten the best of all you sony fanboys. I will admit that Halo 2 was a large disappointment but it’s a fantastic franchise none the less and I anticipate that it will be a long time before anyone forgets the name “Halo” in the video game community. As for your great PS3 lineup… psh every game you have I can find an alternative or more entertaining game on either of the two cheaper consoles. Go ahead sony keep pushing your blu-ray technology, other than your desperate fanboys no ones buying it, and I mean that literally.

to “killjoy” about no other games on xbox 360….
what about skate?……guitar hero’s……grand theft auto 4…..BioShock…Soulcalibur IV……just to name a few……theres plenty more….
so saying halo 3 is the only good game coming out for the 360 is one of the stupidest things i’ve ever heard…
