Sleepyheads: Pictures of L Train Daydreamers
This one might make your commute a bit brighter: Christopher David Ryan’s Sleepyheads, Portraits of Daydreamers is a little book of 64 hand-drawn depictions of daydreamers the artist has encountered on NYC’s L train. Ryan’s drawings of the city’s sleepy commuters are simple, in black and white; some imaginative daydreaming on the viewer’s part makes them come alive.
Only 200 copies of the book are available, with limited edition prints, postcards and badge sets available through My Little Underground.
