Current TV Wins Emmy

By Piers Fawkes on September 17, 2007

Current TV has won an Honoree Emmy for its work in interactive television. An interesting nod towards a company what is pioneering the future direction of TV. In his acceptance speech, Current TV founder Al Gore said:

We are trying to open up the television medium so that viewers can help to make television and join the conversation of democracy and reclaim American democracy by talking about the choices we have to make.
