Google in Your BMW

Finally: Google on your dashboard! (…Your other dashboard.) BMW recently announced it will now offer Google’s local search capabilities directly from their in-dash navigation system – the first and only car manufacturer to do so. Name and location listings of virtually anything and anywhere – restaurants, bars, hotels, gas stations – can now be queried directly from your dash. While the feature is currently only available in Germany, we should expect a Google makeover for our Beemers soon.
