Documenting America’s Unique Approach to Environmental Sustainability

Treehugger points us to a new tongue and cheek video series called YERT (Your Environmental Road Trip). The series documents America’s unique approach to environmental sustainability on a year-long road trip through all 50 states. According to the sites mission statement:

We believe that Americans want to do the right thing - they just don’t want to look strange doing it, and they don’t have the time or the means to explore all the options. That’s where the YERT team comes in. Follow us each week as we shamelessly bathe ourselves in the best (and weirdest) of America’s ecological progress with a mix of outrageous antics, provocative examples, and thoughtful reporting.

So far the road trip hasn’t left the North East, but we’re anxious to keep up with series and find out what some of the more unsuspecting states have to offer the green movement. In the video below, the YERT crew takes a trip through Vermont.
