We’ve featured LVHRD and its wild, spontaneous, semi-secret parties before. They’re a mashup of art, music, fashion, design, and all around renegade creative expression. Every year they host a timed fashion design competition called FSHNDL (that’s “fashion duel”), in which teams of designers receive a surprise assignment, random materials, and one hour to create a full-on couture ensemble live on stage, while party-goers get rowdier by the minute. This year’s FSHNDL is curated by the good folks at Refinery 29.
Taking place in NYC on Halloween eve makes the theme of UNDD BLL (”undead ball”) quite appropriate, and the LVHRD team makes sure to note that no guest will make it out alive, so go at your own risk. Of course, you’ll have to wait till 4 hours prior to even know where to go: To maintain the utmost secrecy, ticketholders will be notified of the party’s location by SMS 4 hours prior to the showdown.
