We are rather, trying to create a space for hardcore gamer girls and also a space where we look at games from a different critical perspective. We are trying to shake the notion that the hardcore girl gamer niche doesn't exist. I realize there are other girl gaming sites out there and I think we all have something to offer because, just like the many "male-driven" sites out there, they don't all come from the same viewpoint. If this is tied in with the whole 'fradoll' mentality, then regular women gamers might want to look at a more established girl gaming site like ThumbBandits.com - run by women and with a large female membership. I joined ThumbBandits over a year ago and they have a very female centric view of gaming, reporting on girl gaming aspects of games, a monthly editorial on a cool strong woman and the FIRST place online to bring girl gamers reviews that actually mentioned them.
