hi. i'm from chicksdiggames.com and I just watned to say that we are not following the fragdoll mentality nor are we trying to recreate what is already out there (I am a fan of many girl gaming sites. We are rather, trying to create a space for hardcore gamer girls and also a space where we look at games from a different critical perspective. We are trying to shake the notion that the hardcore girl gamer niche doesn't exist. I realize there are other girl gaming sites out there and I think we all have something to offer because, just like the many "male-driven" sites out there, they don't all come from the same viewpoint. Not all women think/game alike either!

It's all been done before!! If this is tied in with the whole 'fradoll' mentality, then regular women gamers might want to look at a more established girl gaming site like ThumbBandits.com - run by women and with a large female membership.

I joined ThumbBandits over a year ago and they have a very female centric view of gaming, reporting on girl gaming aspects of games, a monthly editorial on a cool strong woman and the FIRST place online to bring girl gamers reviews that actually mentioned them.

Another site for gay women is LesbianGamers.com

There are well established female gaming sites out there, you just need to know where to look.

Thanks
