To broaden the reach of its online content, the subscriber-only Financial Times has joined Google’s ‘First Click Free’ program. FCF allows users to have free access up to 30 stories per month from premium content that would normally be subscriber-only.
An interesting step for content publishers who want to still try to monetize their content – but is free content for all inevitable anyway?

Great idea, but this must mean that FT is looking for something more to tease potential subscribers. I’m glad I’m not in publishing right now….
