A while ago, web-entrepreneur Jason Calacanis launched a new human powered Search Engine that would only concentrate on providing edited results for the top 20,000 search terms. The big problem with that idea is that it’s only really helpful for 20,000 search terms – and you don’t know whether your query is one of them.
So why would you use a search engine that you’re not confident will find what you’re looking for?

ok… we got bored of the site after 6 queries (they do have monkeys though!)…

Perhaps the problem is prefixing Artois with Stella.

Yes, this has put a bee in my bonnet. What a crap strapline, I can imagine how this will get manipulated and used inappropriately!

Lon, the Mahalo News editor, here. Thanks for checking out our site! I’m sorry we didn’t have the terms you are looking for (though we do have a page on Bulldogs – http://www.mahalo.com/Bulldog).
We will start to work on all of these terms very soon, I assure you. I have already passed on some of these terms (particular Stella Artois!) to the appropriate teams. Like Wikipedia, Mahalo’s a long-term project – it gets harder and harder to “stump” our system every day!
Mahalo for the great feedback! Hope you’ll check in with us again soon.
Thanks,
Lon
