Dasani isn't filtered, it's just a marketing. In fact it's one of the most effective marketing schemes ever created. Bottle regular tap water and mark up the price over 400%, then sell it to idiots like you who probably don't even think to refill the bottle with your own water when you're done. Heck, if you were to do so and compare, the tap water you put in to the bottle would probably taste IDENTICAL.

Dasani may come from the same sources as tap water, but it is filtered to purity. I think it tastes better than most other bottled waters. I would have issue with Dasani if it were marketed as natural spring water, or glacier ice water etc. it is not.

Its also not harmful in any way, so why this is some horrible product, I dont understand.

I'd take bigger issue with Coca Cola soft drink. Sugar and acids erode your teeth, increase your caloric intake and the phosphoric acid in it actively prevents absorption of calcium.
