you might clarify — especially in the headline — that it’s not Semacode, which is a proprietary format (it’s a bit like saying you TiVo’d something on your Time Warner DVR).

Most of the world knows it as QR-code or DataMatrix, but in fact the codes you see in the report look to be their own, I’ve never seen them before. There are many others too, from ColorZip in Korea, to Scanbuy’s stuff here in the US, etc. Pluses and minuses to each of them.

Overall, excellent report on a brilliant use of the technology. The decision to make the UI cues audio-based is an especially brilliant move.
