We’ve been sifting through this week’s NY Times Magazine’s “Year in Ideas” issue trying to pick out a couple of their 70 ideas to feature here. But after a bit of pecking, we’re pretty sure you should give the whole magazine a read-through. From the cleverly sinister (Craigslist Vengeance) to the morbidly eco-conscious (Biodegradable Coffins) to the potentially revolutionary (Wireless Energy), the curated list is a quirky, comprehensive recap of the year that was.

Personally, I thought that even a lot of the ‘ideas’ came from 2007, they felt old. They had already been covered in th blogosphere so much already. And yes, the issue is a cover of the ideas of 2007 but I felt that the NY Times should offer something far more imaginative than just skimming through the trends blogs looking for ides….
