Reminded me of something I said back in '04 regarding the potential split in the Industrial Design profession: "An IDer with multiple skills and access to low-cost manufacturing could be doing the same thing - just with products. So there might be more Karims and Graves and Starks popping up. And we might never hear about them. But in some niche area (custom paperweights!) they will be a star."
