Billboards Top 25 of ‘07: Mashed-up

by Joel Horowitz in Entertainment, Creative Class

billboard chartSan Francisco’s DJ Earworm has released his take on Billboards top 25 pop songs of 2007 with an instant classic 5-minute mashup. Including many songs you’d never tell your friends you actually listen to, the final result is quite entertaining.

And if you haven’t had your fill of Christmas cheer yet, check out Go Home Production’s X-Mas mashup releases. Think Elvis and reggae guru, John Holt. Or the GHP’s classic mix of J-Lo and Paul McCartney.

  1. Well, as long as we’re talking mashups here, a shoutout to my playa friends Adrian & Mysterious D–proprietors of the now-world-wide Bootie mashup parties (now in SF, LA, NY, London, Berlin, and lord knows where else?) … www.bootiesf.com.

Through them I grabbed one of my personal top 5 of last year, Party Ben’s mashup of “Rehab” with the Four Tops’ “Just Can’t Help Myself” … classic on so many levels.
