Earlier this week, Westminster Council unveiled their plans to expand the city’s streetside car-charging service, eventually bringing the total number of charge-points up to an impressive 60 (the most in any UK city). The charging stations will be located in residential areas as well as outside offices and venues, catering to the growing number of hybrid and G-Wiz electric car drivers (the latter almost reaching 1000) in Westminster. As reported on by NewConsumer:
Alan Bradley, Westminster Cabinet Member for Street Environment, said: “We are leading the way in encouraging greener forms of car travel which will help minimise our impact on the environment.
“We want to make it as practical and convenient as possible for people to use electric cars, so having charging points easily available on streets is an essential move. We hope other councils will follow suit across London and beyond so we can have a truly comprehensive system of charging points across the UK.”

Here is something cool, cheers to Westminster council
As an electric car, the G-Wiz has created history in UK, though after the crash test its image has been dented, but the new G-Wiz i has come, to revamp its fame by providing more safety. Everyone should watch this video, showing the crash test conducted on new G-Wiz i.
