Nintendo has announced that the much-anticipated US release of the Wii Fit will come in Q2, after its successful launch in Japan at the beginning of December 2007 (the console sold more than a quarter of a million copies within the first week). The Wii Fit is a fitness-slash-gaming platform that uses a “Wii Balance Board” that measures its game-player’s weight, height, and center of gravity to track his/her performance in any number of 40 physical activities, from yoga to push ups to dance routines. Wii Fit also allows users to compare their fitness stats with other users of the console via the Wii Menu.

Black people dancing, Asian people doing yoga, white people playing soccer, seems about right.
Incredible marketing.
