Imagine being at a party and you're talking to an attractive, interesting person. Without warning, a boring loudmouth dick-head you're not interested in comes over, interrupts your conversation and starts loudly and repeatedly shouting the same message over and over.

Gawd knows I've been responsible for enough loud-as-you-like urban spam in the past. From naked women on Big Ben, 40ft cookies landing in Trafalgar Square, Mini Coppers parked up walls, full sized floating soccer pitches and all manner of stunts, tricks and ploys to get brands noticed.

However, things have moved on. It's time we grew up as an industry. Stop interrupting and start seducing.

With so much money at their disposal, the advertiser could have considered a more intelligent, useful way to get attention.
